Just Trust me

When you were a toddler, your dad held out his arms and said,
"I'll catch you, Just trust me."
When you were in kindergarten, afraid to go down the slide, your friend said,
"I'll show you, just trust me."
As a grader schooler, you thought you could never ever get math right,
but your teacher said, "You can do it, Just trust me."
At the mall, your girlfriend tells you that the prom dress you have on is great.
Unsure of what you will decide, she says, "He is going to love you in that dress.
Buy it, just trust me on this one."
When taking a college final, your confidence tells your reeling mind,
"You will pass with flying colors, Just trust me."
After proposing to you, your fiance smiles at your "Yes."
You question how you both will plan the wedding and he whispers in your ear,
"Just trust me."
With your last breath, you ask God,
"Lord, I have followed You faithfully for all my days because of Your Son,
but how do I know I am assured of Heaven's glory?"
And my soul rejoices when He answers,
"Just trust Me."
