It’s agonizing,
You know.
That which bloodies.
That which bloodies my hand.
All is dull,
And then all is vibrant.
Then I want to burn.
Then I want to burn it off.
It doesn’t burn,
This vibrant stain.
I scrub at the grime.
I scrub at the grime that is me.
Then I crawl,
Back to Him.
He makes me clean.
He makes me clean and all is chaste.
