Hi, Girls!

We absolutely love getting mail from you! Whether it’s snail mail, email or Facebook comments, we count it an honor to hear from you. And guess what! We take what you have to say seriously.

Bazillions of you have asked for more pages in the magazine, and—create your own drumroll here—we’re giving them to you! We hope you’re as excited as we are. Beginning with this very issue, you now have more pages. More to chew on. More to think about. More to help you draw closer to Christ. More to share with your friends.

You’ve also told us that you’re spending more and more time online, and we’re right there with you! Stay tuned for more digital fun in 2012—new ways to connect, interact, and grow the SUSIE Sisterhood with you and your friends!

To make all this possible, you’ll now be receiving two SUSIE issues at once—a dual issue. This is January/February. Be sure to log on to SUSIEMag.com between issues for web-only bonus articles, updates, blogs and contests. SUSIEMag.com is there to encourage and challenge you and your friends in the Online Sisterhood every day of the week—365 days a year!

Speaking of friends ... from your letters and emails, we can tell that you totally care about them. So invite them into the SUSIE Sisterhood with you! Go to the SUSIEMag.com homepage and hit the “Tell A Friend” button on the left-hand side. It’s simple: We need YOUR help in reaching other girls for Christ. YOU are the hands and feet of Jesus—and what an honor that is!

Girls, we hope you know how loved you are. If you were here—or if we were there—we’d treat you to an ice-cold Slurpee and give you a big ol’ bear hug. Please send us an email at info@susiemag.com and let us know your thoughts. We love you!

I think it is okay. Not that I'm not disappointed but it's not like I will cry about it.At least its not one issue a year!

When I started reading this, I was like "Yeah! More pages!" but then when I read the rest of it, I was disappointed. Bimonthly makes less pages per year. One of my favourite things about Susie compared to most other magazines for teens was that they had a new issue each month. If it's for financial reasons, you could just say that rather than making it seem like we have more pages in the long run.

I agree with the other girls...I'm really disappointed about the bimonthly issues. I've always looked forward to getting the magazine every month, now I have to wait two months!!! :( I still love the magazine, but I really wish it was still monthly...

I'm extremely disappointed in the change of twelve issues a year to six. I'm even more disappointed that it seems like you're trying to hide the change by acting like you're just making the magazines bigger, when if fact we're getting FEWER issues a year and FEWER total pages. I understand that there may be a need to change the way you usually print, but you shouldn't try to hide it or pretend we're getting more. Plus, we're getting less for our money, which is something that should be clearly communicated.

I think once a month issues is better than bimonthly issues. because, if you think about it 67 pages in a 2 month mag is actually less then the previous 40 pages for each 1 month mag.

yeah... I like the issues coming every month but maybe they have to do that for financial reasons.. :/ One of my favorite things in the magazine is actually the ads for books! I'm not a fan of the typical books at my school library so I love finding out about a new series or book!!

I agree, the issues should come one at a time.
