New Dreams and Opportunities

New Dreams and Opportunities
My Sweet SUSIE Sisters!

I hope you’ve had a wonderful summer so far! I’ve loved writing to you over the last year-and-a-half. You’ve shared your ideas, your hopes, your struggles and your hearts with me, and I’ve loved every minute of our journey!

We’ve talked about everything from homework issues to test taking pressure. We’ve made plans for how to finish strong and how to always give God our best. It sounds like some lofty goals—but I think the most important thing we’ve learned together is how to become workers approved by God.

I am still learning how to handle the tests of life and how to complete the “homework” related with my jobs. I never like to give up on anything and I hate to say “no” to an opportunity. But I’m learning that God didn’t call me to do everything—He just called me to be ready to try anything He puts in front of me.

So, here I go—I’m trying something new. I’m following the burden God put on my heart and I’m heading out into the scary unknown world of speaking, writing and ministering to moms and women across the country. After spending lots of time in prayer and having great conversations with my family and friends, I have decided to focus my energy and time toward my company and speaking ministry.

So this will be my final article to you. I want to encourage you to reach for any and all dreams that God puts into your mind . . . He put them there for a reason. When the enemy comes against you and plants thoughts of doubt and fear in your mind, I pray you will have the strength to hear the Holy Spirit’s whisper of confidence over the roar of Satan’s chaos.

I’ve learned how to be patient and trust God’s timing (instead of mine). After four years of wondering when God would make this dream a reality, I’m finally watching His plan unravel. Sometimes it’s hard to wait, hard to understand God’s timing . . . from a Sister that’s just a little bit ahead of you on this journey can I tell you that waiting is the BEST!?!?!? It really is—waiting means I discover why I’m pursuing something, I learn more about who I am as a child of God and I find out what God wants to do.

So whether you are discovering new dreams for your life, waiting for those dreams to become a reality or watching your dreams become reality—I couldn’t be more proud to know a group of girls who know what it means to live a life that is Christ-centered and filled with joy!

You are wonderful and I’ll still be a part of the Sisterhood, so I can keep up with the awesome things you are doing to make this world a fantastic place!

Stay strong in the Lord, confident in your abilities and peaceful in each moment God gives you.

Blessings to you and your families!
Kasey
